2 Corinthians 12:1-10<\/a><\/p>\n

12\u00a0I must go on boasting.\u00a0Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to visions and revelations\u00a0from the Lord.\u00a02\u00a0I know a man in Christ\u00a0who fourteen years ago was caught up\u00a0to the third heaven.\u00a0Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know\u2014God knows.\u00a03\u00a0And I know that this man\u2014whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows\u20144\u00a0was caught up to paradise\u00a0and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.\u00a05\u00a0I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses.\u00a06\u00a0Even if I should choose to boast,\u00a0I would not be a fool,\u00a0because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say,\u00a07\u00a0or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh,\u00a0a messenger of Satan, to torment me.\u00a08\u00a0Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.\u00a09\u00a0But he said to me,\u00a0\u201cMy grace<\/span>\u00a0is sufficient for you, for my power<\/span>\u00a0is made perfect in weakness.<\/span>\u201d<\/span>\u00a0Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ\u2019s power may rest on me.\u00a010\u00a0That is why, for Christ\u2019s sake, I delight\u00a0in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships,\u00a0in persecutions,\u00a0in difficulties.
